The health calculators are screening estimates derived from population averages. They cannot account for your medical history, medication, body composition, ancestry, pregnancy status, or any condition affecting metabolism, fluid balance or growth. Several of them are known to be unreliable for specific groups, and each page states where.

Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. If you are worried about a result, or about symptoms of any kind, contact a doctor or qualified healthcare provider. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.

The pregnancy due date calculator is a particular case: due dates are estimates and the overwhelming majority of births do not occur on the estimated date. Follow the guidance of your midwife or obstetrician over anything produced here.

The formulas are implemented carefully and checked against reference values, but no guarantee is made that any result is accurate, complete or current. Formulas, tax rates, medical guidelines and regulatory thresholds change, and pages may lag behind those changes.
